1985
The birth of Chester Kings Sport Club
Kings Sport Club is founded by a group of passionate rugby enthusiasts in Chester. The club initially competes in local amateur leagues with a small but dedicated squad of players.
First Division Promotion
After several years of hard work and development, the senior men’s team earns its first promotion to the regional second division, marking a new era of competitive rugby for the club.

Expansion and New Training Ground
With growing membership and increased community support, the club opens its first dedicated training ground, providing state-of-the-art facilities for players of all levels.
2005
Introduction of the Women’s Team
Recognizing the growing interest in women’s rugby, Kings Sport Club establishes its first women’s team. The team quickly gains recognition and begins competing in regional leagues.
2010
Youth Academy Launched
To invest in the future of the sport, the club launches a youth academy, providing training and mentorship for aspiring rugby players aged 12 to 18.

Kings Sport Club establishes key partnerships with local businesses, enhancing its financial stability and strengthening its ties with the community.
